Changes to Terms & Conditions
To help with the smooth running of the company and to avoid disputes between the company and its customers, the
following changes are being made to our standard terms and conditions.
Inspection Fee
With effect from 1 June 2011 the company will charge an inspection fee of £10.00
for each item that is brought for repair or diagnosis.
The inspection fee is non-refundable and must be paid at the time TJH Computers takes collection of the
equipment.
Should the customer proceed with any repairs suggested by the company, the
inspection fee will be deducted from the final repair cost
Storage Time Limits
The company is revising it storage time limits due to customers who leave goods and
then fail to collect them in a timely manner.
With effect from 1 June 2011, all goods booked into the company will attract
a storage time limit of 90 days from the time the equipment is booked into the
company.
Should the goods not be collected from the company by the end of this
90 day period the company reserve the right to dispose of the equipment in any
manner that the company sees fit.
Any monies raised by the disposal of uncollected equipment will be used to defray storage and or repair costs.
The company will not be liable for the loss of any data that may have been held on the equipment.
Storage Charges
The company shall charge a flat rate per item of equipment held in excess of 91
days at the rate of £10.00 per day, until the equipment is disposed of.
Any monies recovered from the disposal of the equipment will be initially used to offset these
charges.
Any surplus will be retained as a sale by the company.
Any shortfall will be charged to the person that was named when the equipment was booked into the
company.
Cheques
With effect from 1 June 2011 the company will no longer take cheques in payment
for goods or services. Payments can be made in cash or by credit/debit card via the
company Paypal Account
